I'll be starting at VEEB in the Fall and was wondering if there are any current or past VEEB students that can give some info on this program.
What are the Teachers like?
What are the required books?
Is the program as intense as they say?
Do they have articulation agreements with other nursing (RN) programs? If so, with who?
Are there any disadvantages in taking the LPN course outside of a Community College setting?
Do they provide job Placement at the end???
Any information that ANYONE can provide will be GREATLY appreciated! I really want to have a full understanding of what I'm in for. I have 2 year old Twins and I am a little worried about whether or not I'll be able to juggle school/studying and Family!
Hey praise2u, yes they take too long! I'm extremely anxious to get my results already! It's been over a month for me, I tested on February 11th !! This wait is unbearable LOL!!
Thats crazy nymom you took your test 2/11 and still no results wow!...Veeb needs more employees or something this is out of control I took my test 2/10 and got my results (3/10) an i live in the city....maybe i should not stress that acceptance letter b/c it seems like thats gonna take centuries too!.......People need to make moves and figure out their next step and Veeb putting us on hold is wrong!....ohh gosh idk maybe i'll stop checking my mailbox for a awhile cuz that letter is not coming anytime soon:banghead:
It seems there is no rhyme or reason to their process! I tested on 2/23 and I recieved my results on 3/18. I have turned in my reference letters, but have yet to hear whether I got in or not. Who knows?! All I can say is good luck to everyone during this extremely stressful process!
You know I have already decided if I don't get in I will just go straight for the RN. This process Veeb has is terrible, and I would think the fact that we had to pay for it would make the process better. I feel like I have been cheated. I could have taken the test at Boces for free.. Anyway we must keep our heads up!
hey guys, i spoke to one of the ladies at veebs and she said they are still grading entrance exams and they are not going to start collecting money from anybody till they are done grading the exams..(so im guessing they wont start sending acceptance letters till they are done with the test results)..uuuggghhh i cant believe i tested on 2-11th and i still dont know whether i passed or not!!!!! she said they are really delayed with everything this year!!!! ..

I guess u and I are in the same boat rnhopefully, I hope we get good news in the mail soon!! I wonder if Geo got anything yet.
