VEEB LPN Program (info request)

Hi All,

I'll be starting at VEEB in the Fall and was wondering if there are any current or past VEEB students that can give some info on this program.

What are the Teachers like?

What are the required books?

Is the program as intense as they say?

Do they have articulation agreements with other nursing (RN) programs? If so, with who?

Are there any disadvantages in taking the LPN course outside of a Community College setting?

Do they provide job Placement at the end???

Any information that ANYONE can provide will be GREATLY appreciated! I really want to have a full understanding of what I'm in for. I have 2 year old Twins and I am a little worried about whether or not I'll be able to juggle school/studying and Family!

So, Yet another problem,,I took my references into Veeb and to my horror they were not DATED! What luck I am having!

Oh no, bmommy2! Go get those letters dated! Let me ask yall...excactly how "official" does the letterhead have to be? The company I work for just seems to have this generic looking letterhead that really anybody could make...is that ok?

Also, about the immunizations, does anyone know specifically which ones Veeb requires?

My references were sent from out of state..think this is the end for me!

Don't give up, bmommy2! Isnt there ANYONE here who can write you a reference letter? Wow, Veeb is really strict about everything!

Thanks Grindin26, do they give us a specific form thats gets filled out or what?? How does that work?? And how long does it take to get the acceptance letter??

Just bring your record / proof of immunizations.

The MD will literally glance at it for 10 sec. and determine what you need.

Got my acceptance letter a couple days after handing in my references in person.

Thanks again. Hopefully my letter will come soon also I handed them in on thurs. so lets say maybe the end of this week or next week. I can wait to get that letter. I wanna start looking for cute nursing sneakers but I'm gonna wait until I receive that acceptance letter! lololol :D

Just got my letter...I PASSED!!! OMG i cant beleive it. I have to hand in my reference letters by next Wed the 25th. I think I'm in shock right now... =)
