Hi All,
I'll be starting at VEEB in the Fall and was wondering if there are any current or past VEEB students that can give some info on this program.
What are the Teachers like?
What are the required books?
Is the program as intense as they say?
Do they have articulation agreements with other nursing (RN) programs? If so, with who?
Are there any disadvantages in taking the LPN course outside of a Community College setting?
Do they provide job Placement at the end???
Any information that ANYONE can provide will be GREATLY appreciated! I really want to have a full understanding of what I'm in for. I have 2 year old Twins and I am a little worried about whether or not I'll be able to juggle school/studying and Family!
I have the slightest ideas why your results are taking sooo long I mean how long does it take to slide a scantron through the machine??? 1 month!? Yea right my guess is that they are trying to get as much money off the testing fee($175) due to the fact that they are not having the bridge program. Or I could be wrong who knows...
oh really?! I didnt know that thanks for the info Trini. Then I might as well just wait. Granted that I get in first tho lol. Will they have like a job placement fair as well or you are on your own?
No problem Rn.The info about being able to take the CNA test after the 1st semester is on the VEEB website. As far as getting a CNA job you are probably on your own.
its frustrating to have to wait so long, i want my results so if i didnt pass then i could look into other options, but i just want to stay positive because i would rather get into veeb than anywhere else...uuggghhh this wait is so nerve racking lol..and the fact that there will be no bridge this year is even more nerve racking lol..oh and thanks for all the info Trini, we took our tests on the same day..

I'm pretty sure VEEB will test an "x" amount of people first and an "x" amount of the highest scorers will get a letter to send reference letters in. It makes it fair for those who take the test at a later date.
So theoretically I don't think there's a specific "passing" grade which guarantees you got in, otherwise if all the people "passed" on the first few days of testing, what about all the other test takers?
Then they just keep testing, until they fill all the seats.
It explains why the earlier you take the test, the longer the wait. I took the test in the middle of March and waited a week, and made my deposit the 1st week of April.
