VCC Winter 2023

Hey guys, 

I wanted to create a group for whoever applied to the LPN to BSN advanced entry program at VCC! I was wondering if anyone knows when they would start sending out acceptance letters? 
I have sent all my pre reqs in but just waiting for the Casper results!!

Honestly my credentials aren't the greatest in comparison to other students on here. ENGL B(2.84), BIOL A-/C+ 3.67/2.33 (3.00) and my elective avg of 3.67. I have about 4 years of LPN experience. I believe I was in the 3rd percentile for Casper. 

Yeah I kept checking a million times today, still no update. You never know people may drop out, etc. 

Those are really good! I think my GPA is 3.63, and I got 4th percentile for Casper.

Oh you must have a way better chance than me, if you don't get an acceptance letter you must be really close on the waitlist. Maybe phone admissions to see for an application status update?!

Hey, 

Admissions told me it will update in mid April, and I just randomly checked my application and got accepted to the advanced entry!

I got accepted in the advanced entry of BSN just today! Yay!  Still waiting for the results from Langara as well. ?

UBc's letters go out at the end of the month, there will a few who have paid and will switch to ubc...

If anyone reading this got waitlisted too, can you comment on this, I have a question about an email I got from admissions.

Did you receive an email? I received an email last week stating that I was waitlisted, but today I got an email that just said "application update" and within the email it stated that "Your application is complete, and you are in line to receive a seat offer"... It didn't say congratulation you have been accepted, so I don't know if that means I will be getting one soon or what ?

Yeah I got an email saying congratulations and the conditional acceptance to advanced entry. I think that means that you’re one of the next ones to get accepted if someone drops their seat. Payments are due before July 15

Congrats! Would you stay at VCC or choose Langara if you got in?

Hey y’all!
Does anyone else’s application show a number beside their status? For example, “wl #”? It should be found near the bottom of your application when you sign in. 

I wonder if that is our position on the waitlist. I tried to inquire about it but they were being very vague saying, they cannot say where you are on the waitlist.

Yes mine does, it says 8.. I would assume that is what my position is on the WL :(, does yours?
