Vanderbilt Nurse Residency Program Summer 2013

This thread is for those who are applying for the nurse residency program at Vanderbilt. I thought this would be a great place to keep up to date Inge selection process and make connections with new friends and colleagues. I am currently in my final year of nursing school at UCCS in Colorado. My goals are to be accepted for the adult critical care track an then return to school and become a CRNA. I know the job market is very competitive, especially for residency programs. I completed the online application 2 days ago and am waiting to hear back for more instructions. Good luck to everyone:)

I am glad that I could see positive from others who did not make it, you helped me to be positive. Congrats in advance to those that do receive it. I am lucky that a position where I did my partnership just opened today, NO ONE will stop me from getting that position!! lol

I was wondering the same thing! What kind of sequence are they going in to inform us of their decisions? I am dying from suspense!

thats good to know Utalum, hopefully im high up in the wait list. i got my email around 10 am.. if you havent gotten one yet thats probably good because it seems like theyre saving the accepted residents for last!

No email yet.. its 2:40pm in Nashville, I hope the rest of the emails get sent out today! I'm getting carpal tunnel from refreshing my email over and over

I'm sorry to everyone who didn't get it. I understand the heart break. Plus it stings more because we got all the way to the end to be denied. But just like what has been said it is not a door closing but another opportunity opening and we jut have to find it.
