Hey everyone! I didn't see a forum for people applying to the fall cohort at VUMC, so I thought I would make one. Good luck applying!

Awesome! I didn’t know if they favored those who took the NCLEX but it seems like not so that’s great!

I got an interview date for the psychiatric hospital this morning.

I had my interview with the cardiac step-down unit and it went well! does any one know when we will hear back? the manager I interviewed with said in a few weeks but I'm hoping it's sooner ?

Was it another interview? Like with behavioral questions

She only asked me two questions - one was about why I wanted to be a nurse/what part of nursing appealed to me and one was about a specific answer I had on the pre-recorded questions. She asked if I had any questions for her and the beginning and the end as well!

I have a conversation with the adult critical care SICU tomorrow! Good luck everyone, any insight to conversations? What they might ask? How many they might make offers too?

I just had my interview with the pedi OR! I think it went well, but it was quick so I don't know. They asked me two questions, why I want to be a nurse and a specific one about the video I sent in, and I asked some questions of my own.

I asked my interviewer when I should expect to hear back and she said either later this week or early next week... I don't know if it's different for the different cohorts or not

I just found out and accepted a job in the PICU! I’m so nervous and excited! I’m relocating from new Jersey’ I’d love to connect with some people!
