Vanderbilt MSN 2019

Published

Hi! I'm starting a thread for Vanderbilt MSN Fall 2019. Anyone else applying/re-applying too? Please comment!

Finally got an email; I am wait listed for midwifery ~ congrats to everyone who got in though!!! I don't think I will accept a spot on the wait list, however, since I am planning on accepting either Boston College or the University of Minnesota so hopefully it will move fast for anyone else waiting.

For anyone on the wait list, remember that it means they do want you, they just don't have room yet (and that if they weren't choosing you for the program they would've given a firm no). So don't get your hopes down!

Accepted for direct entry PMHNP.

It only mentioned the basic scholarship that everyone gets, but I applied for the Bass Military Scholars program also...Did anyone else apply for that? If so, did they mention it in your acceptance letter...? That was kind of going to be hard to turn down if I got it, but if I didn't get it, I will probably decline in favor of UPENN...or possibly Yale if I get in there.

Waitlisted FNP, got in CNM. Will not be accepting. Good luck guys!

Waitlisted for Vanderbilt but accepted to Boston College PMHNP. I'd turn down Boston if I got into Vanderbilt. Just read your post and thought about the irony of our situations.

So crazy!! Too bad we can’t just switch spots. ;) Both are great programs in great cities, though, so there’s no bad decision! I think BC only accepted 40 TOTAL in all specialties, so you’re the cream of the crop!

Is anyone doing AGACNP 2-year part time? I want to know the class load and money I have to spend. Is it $1556 per credit hour? How many units do you take per semester and doable for RN part time or full time?

I took forever to check because I was scared but I got in to pre specialty PMHNP!!! So excited!!!!!

Is there a facebook page set up?

Haha I know right?! That's what I was thinking. But yes, both are great programs and I'm grateful that I was accepted to BC. ? Thank you for sharing, did not realize it was so few.

I applied for Bass as well and did not get any info in my acceptance letter. Did you?

Let's start one! I can make one, but Facebook won't let me until I have at least one person to add besides myself, so someone DM me your Facebook user email!

I'll DM you now!

No....That's what I am wondering about...Well, if you didn't hear about it either, maybe they notify us about that separately. I am going to call to find out on Monday morning.
