Hello. I attend Vanderbilt University School of Nursing, but am in the Adult/Women's Health Program. I do have friends that are in the FNP/CNM program. I do know that the instructors are very good, as I have taken classes with them. As for the overall FNP/CNM program itself, I do not know what the thoughts are out there about it. You should try to go to an open house. There is usually one in the Fall (October/November) and Spring.
Thanks for letting me know. I"ll be graduating with my BSN in December, but I already know I want to go to grad school. Even though you're not in the program, how has your experience been at Vandy? Do you think that it's worth the cost of education? What made you decide to do their program?
Hi,
Is there anything you can share publicly in this thread about your experience at Vandy? I'm interested in just the FNP program because it's so short. Has anyone out there actually finished it in 3 semesters? I looked at the curriculum and the first semester has seven classes! How can you do that and work at the same time, or do you? Did any Vanderbilt alum get scholarships to attend?
Thanks!

Looking for current students or graduates of Vanderbilt's FNP/CNM program for information about how they like the program.
Any help would be appreciated!
