Hello! I recently applied to The fall 2020 Valley Health Nurse Residency Program in Ridgewood, NJ. I am wondering if anyone else has applied/ has any Information on the interview/hiring process. Thank you!

Yes thats who I spoke with a couple of times she seems really nice so I hope she can provide some good news. I am so sad right now .. this was my top choice hopsital because NJ is SO hard to come by hopsitals that offer NICU/PICU/L&D

Well maybe there is still hope!! It doesnt say "not selected" or "Not considered" it just says closed. Maybe meaning the review process is closed and interviews are going to be extended now?? The only thing that gives me hope is the initial residency posting changed to closed once we got womens and childrens

Also, my friends changed and both of ours changed at the same time. I feel like the odds of all 3 of us not getting an interview would be fishy but who knows

yeah one of us has to get one. there's no way all 3 of us are not even given an interview?? I wish she would email back already

Thats what I'm saying, I really hope so. I would imagine one of us would have gotten an interview. But maybe it is as competitive as the website says it is .. I hope she emails u back soon with good news

ugh I found this when trying to search what closed could mean. It's on the company's website CSOD which is the application server Valley uses. Now my hope is really dwindling LOL

Closed - This status is used when consideration of the applicant is closed. The status type is Closed by default and cannot be changed.

My friend told me she knows 1 other person who applied and their app changed to closed as well - so who knows. I hope we hear something from the recruiter soon so we can just move on and start looking elsewhere. Have u applied anywhere else?

yeah I also applied to Northwell health's residency program but that was just med-surg. what others have you applied to?
