Hello everyone! I can’t seem to find a thread for FALL 2019 for Valencia college. So I decided to make one and see when others have put their applications in and all that good stuff.
Hey guys,
Hopefully we get an e-mail soon. I was wondering if any of you are planning to do Nursing school while juggling a job, paying for rent and other bills, etc.? I'm kind of nervous thinking about how I'm going to do it. I already have a Bachelor's degree so I can't get any financial aid.
Also, does anyone know if Valencia's nursing program provides us a CNA license after we take a certain class? I heard some schools offer it but wasn't sure about Valencia.

Hopefully, if I get in I’ll be working full-time nights, and for the CNA license- usually after the first semester of the nursing program you’ll qualify for CNA. Many hospitals will hire you once you finish the first semester, from what I’ve seen. Hope this helps.

Hey, juggling a job while in nursing school will be hard but it’s doable. It’s all about managing you time and discipline. As far as for the CNA once you pass nursing 1 you’ll be a license CNA.

I’m planning to work part time whenever nursing school starts! I’m also at ORMC, but I have rent and bills too. Honestly I think it’s doable as long as we know how to manage our time

I applied in February 2019 for the summer semester but didn't get in because they got filled up pretty quick. So I am currently waiting to see if I can get in to Fall semester. very nervous and anxious!!
?? Finger crossed we heard something from them today or tomorrow. I don’t think I can continue with this much longer.
