Valencia Fall 2019

Published

Hello everyone! I can’t seem to find a thread for FALL 2019 for Valencia college. So I decided to make one and see when others have put their applications in and all that good stuff.

Thanks girl!!! Did you apply to all programs or specify a specific campus?

I applied for daytime and evening/weekends at west campus only.

Weiyoung,

it was that exact same email for both applications.

Hopeisawsome,

Oh okay, thanks. I have my fingers crossed hoping for the best. But if I don't hear anything, then I hope I'll get in for the Spring 2020.

Good luck on your journey and congrats again.

Has any resequencing student heard anything yet?

Not yet. They told me somewhere around mid July they will let us know.

I applied in Feb. and I have not heard anything. I have not received any emails. I emailed "healthsciencesapplication" last week and still no reply. I applied to all programs for day/evening. I am trying to be patient?. I was waitlisted for the summer and did receive an email when I was waitlisted, but nothing this time.

Still nothing for me either. This coming week is week 8. They say that replies will be 6-8 weeks after the May 15th date. So that should mean those of us that are still waiting should hear back something this week... you would think.

When did you apply? I did not think I would be waitlisted twice.

I find it funny that people who applied in February didn’t get in while those who applied in May did get in. Am kind of thinking this acceptance thing is not a first come first serve. After reading comments and timeline when people applied it’s like they have another criteria used in selecting applicants.

I also want to think those who received an email of being waitlisted still have a chance of getting in while those who didn’t receive anything at all will most definitely be program for Spring 2020.

Yeah it is a bit weird that people who have applied earlier are not getting seats and people who applied later are. I think there is something up with the application system. I don't think it could be based on stats because there's some people with low stats that got in. For me though I'm just going to save up a bunch of money and take advantage of the wait, I'd personally rather start in January now anyways. It only pushes us back 3 months for graduation at least.

Same, I am working full-time and saving, but I really don't want to wait more than one year. I have applied to other programs too, but they are so expensive.

You’re right, it’s just a three months set back.
