]Hey Y'all,

]I'm trying to get into Valencia Comm. College in Orlando. Love the campus. I'm trying to brush up on the skills for the CPT. Is there any advice you can give me? Math is my weakest subject. I'm currently a LPN. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks. Already registered in this school.:nurse:

Hey, I took the CPT 3 weeks ago... math was kind of easy, even though i am terrible with numbers :down: BTW, I got 75 in math, which left me out out math, like, for ever :yeah: reading and writing it's easy... if you have studied by the testprepreview.com, you're in the right path ;-)

I did their online Advanced track bridge program and finished in December. It was a great program and very convenient for working adults. I'm not sure about the CPT, I didnt have to take it bc I had taken college math and english or something...whatever it was I escaped having to take it. I remember i had to take it at another school when I was working on my pre reqs....I studied a GED math workbook to brush up on my math.

Here is a tip for you to save a science class. They require Biology as a pre req to Micro, but it isnt required for entrance into the program. I took micro at DBCC in Daytona Beach over the summer session in order to get out of taking biology(they didnt require biology as a pre req). That was one less science class I had to take, and it was worth driving back and forth for 6 weeks!

I really wish I had known that! Although I have to have Chem for my BSN, which has Biology for it's prerequ. Oh well. Yo OP you can get a little review pack at the bookstore for the CPT for just a few bucks. I am pretty sure it is under 10. It is just printed pages you throw in a binder. It worked well for me and I had been out of school ffor 10 years. Good Luck.
