Most of me is Irish. My original family goes back to the alqonguin tribes what is now Staten Island, NY. Regardless, I'm very proud of them. I hate it when people ask me if I'm half chinese.

Just went per diem at my facility. I'm going to wait on tables for awhile. I've put in applications in about 17 places and nothing. I'm terribly burned out. I have been a LPN for 2 and half years. I give up. I tried the temp agencies, nothing. I live in Florida.

Hi All, I've been in recovery for 8 years. I became a nurse 2 and half years ago. I'm totally burned out. I just take on too much and deal with nurses who pass the buck. I need to step back. I'm going per diem and wait tables for awhile. I'm lost, totally. I'm a LPN and haven't found work. I've put in applications in alot of facilities. It's too heartbreaking. I've been written up. I'm more a hands on nurse. Documentation is not my strongest. Any advice would help. I'm very depressed.

Thanks for the info everyone. I work in LTC and very bored. Have to stay over 2 hours after the shift is done. Then it's start all over again. I'm getting some applications into the corrections department here. I'm just waiting to get called back. If they do I will definitly go to it. I work with some of the most miserable bad seeds in LTC. Yes, there all over. But I like to work and be challenged as well. You all are great people.

]Hey Y'all, ]I'm trying to get into Valencia Comm. College in Orlando. Love the campus. I'm trying to brush up on the skills for the CPT. Is there any advice you can give me? Math is my weakest subject. I'm currently a LPN. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks. Already registered in this school.

Thank you. I Feel uneasy about it and decided to try to get in a local college. The climical part concerned me. $1900.00 and I heard alot of nurses fail. Not good. Thank you all for your responses. The Florida Board of nursing is getting hardline with some of the online programs. They will accept Excelsior degree if someone was a LPN already. If someone is transferring to the state they have to have some time as a nurse before being endorsed. That was a mouthful.

I'm interested in working with native americans at the IHS. How is the interveiwing process. What kind of experience ome would need? Do you need to be RN or LPN? What extra credentials are they looking for? Feedback appreciated. Thanks,

Hey I'm surgargirl66. I'm an LPN. I battle with depression big time does anyone else. There are times when I just want to die. I'm tired of the medicine changes. I've quit smoking and joined weight watchers. The doc said with all the changes in my body the medicine is going to change as well. He gave lamictal with the Lexapro and Wellbutrin I'm taking. Has anyone had this problem?

I have PTSD I have been a nurse for 3years. It's from past abuses. I take medicine. Some days are better than others. I seek counseling. The trip is well worth it. Right now I'm struggling with the medication issue. I go to meetings when I can due to my schedule.

Hi Everyone, Has anyone tried the online LPN to RN Program? I just got some info from RUE,I Study Smart, and Excelsior and Indiana State College. Can someone give me some advice. Especially with the BON in Florida that they may not O.K these programs. Thanks:heartbeat
