Valencia College 2019 Orlando

Hello!

I have a question for any Valencia College students in Orlando, Florida. How many of you are currently waiting to be accepted into nursing school for 2019? I submitted my application in June 2018, got wait-listed before the Spring term started. I'm currently waiting to be accept for the Summer or Fall 2019 term. Please share the date you submitted your application, if you've been accepted or any news on the status of your application. Would love to share our experiences. THANKS!

Exactly. Everyone who applied in December hasn't gotten an email yet so I'm just going to wait. I will be looking into other schools in the meantime.

At this point, I don’t care if I’m waitlisted, I just want to know one way or the other. I have nightmares that something is wrong with my prereqs or application. They need to let us know one way or the other.

It's just almost as if they don't want to let us know and it's annoying me. Deeply.

Thank you for the well wishes! You're going to get there. Even if this turns out to be a minor setback, you WILL get where you want to go. Let's just hope it's sooner rather than later. ;)

I'm in the same boat! I applied late but would still like to hear SOMETHING about my status! ? What other options are you considering? I'm curious because I feel like I need to keep my options open as well.

When did you apply! To be honest I’m not sure as of right now. Valencia was my first choice. I even got an apartment close to campus. I just emailed the health sciences team because I’m going crazy and need to know my options.

I thought I had missed the application deadline on Jan 15th, but once I found out they have rolling admissions, I took the TEAS and applied in late January for the summer. I have met all of the requirements so it's a matter of when I will be waitlisted, but my fear is that I won't be accepted until next Spring at this point! Valencia is my first option as well ?

When I went to the nursing office in the month of December, before the term ended, the gentleman in the office said the summer was almost completely full for days-West campus. He said I would most likely be waitlisted. So I would assume that those of us who applied from about June to July on, are getting waitlisted to fall. I’m speaking for days, west campus only.
