Hello. Has anybody received an email asking if they would like to start nursing school in the fall semester? I'm hoping I will start a semester or two earlier and I was wondering if they have sent out emails yet. Hopefully some seats will open up! Thanks!
Karla- As for me, I got my acceptance letter in June 2012 for a Summer 2014 start. But hopefully I'll get one of the open seats for Fall 2013. We shall see. My GPA is 2.9 (not great because when I got out of high school, many years ago, I did just what it took to get by, now my mind set is much different). My TEAS was pretty good. Really strong in Math and Human Body section of science, which is most important in this field. Wishing you the best of luck in your quest for concurrent. I will do my BSN later. -Emilyn
I was accepted into the program in may 2012. I have a 3.8 GPA, my TEAS scores aren't great but acceptable. I'm also hoping to start in August. I have been told that a lot of people turn their seats down or do not reply so we have a good chance of starting early. I'm very excited because this will be 2 semesters early for us!

I think we will start sooner. I just applied and got an admittance for Fall 2014. Im praying I start asap, but im still applying to UCF Basic program. Did you apply their too? You have a strong GPA! My gpa is 3.6, 4.0 Pre req and a not so great teas score, but I am studying to improve my score now. I know Valencia is getting ready to bump up requirements so maybe this will help with a shorter wait list?

Congrats on being accepted! It will happen for us, we just have to be patient. All the waiting can be stressful but I am focused on improving myself in all aspects as I wait. =)

Im hoping I can start sooner but im thankful I only have to wait a year. I am still going to apply to concurrent and UCF basic. What are your stats? How long did you have to wait? Congrats on being accepted! =)
