I had my orientation yesterday and I was told that they will email me if a seat is available. they don't know when but to be prepared. I got ordered my name badge yesterday and ordered my uniforms. I also completed all of my immunizations and physical. I just hope they will let me know soon. I have to plan accordingly to my job. did the school call you or email?

They called me first to ask if I wanted the seat and when I said yes, they emailed me the official, "you're accepted" email.

so I'm still waiting for the school to notify me if I have a seat available. If they offer me a seat for the summer and I decline will i be able to start the following semester? ( fall 2016).

No. If you turn down the seat if offered, you have to reapply completely the next semester.

It should have said that in the email you received explaining about being an alternate.

Hi! yes I'm currently in the program. I'm in the LPN to rn prgoram. it's mostly online. lab is every Wednesday. right now we'really learning through foundations of nursing which is condensed to about 12 wks. then after we will have OB/ peds.clinical

it's an all day event. they will do some lecture in lab.

Was there a way to monitor the process of your application without actually calling them? Or did they send you some sort of e-mail to tell you that they received your application and they are reviewing it?

yes they do send you an email it will be about 4-6 wks after the deadline date. They will let you know if your in or not. if you have any more questions let me know. I'm currently in my second semester. it does get harder each semester so be mentally prepared.

for the 1st half of the semester you will take transition to nursing which is like fundamentals. will go to Osceola campus and have lab once a week, you will be checked off on nursing skills. Then once you pass the first half you will take peds and ob. That's when you will start clinicals. once a week. 3 peds and 3 labret delivery rotation. you'll go to class only 2 or 3 times but everything else is online

For the 2nd semester which is Adult health. everything is online. you have clinicals once a week and you have to go the day before to pick up your patient.
