VA Nurse 3 Performance Assessment

Anyone have a good example of a Nurse 3 Self Performance assessment. I'm getting told that no one is going to get nurse 3 and I'm trying to stack things in my favor as much as possible.

My Mentor got fed up with the VA and has left and my current NM and I don't see eye to eye. I'm kind of grasping at straws.

Oh the holy grail of VA nursing - the nurse 3. I can offer a little assistance if you are still looking to go through with this. I oversee 9 nursing faculty at the VA as part of an academic partnership. Two are 3s, but the other two who are looking for the certification have not received it yet. I am helping one appeal as it is ridiculous that she has not been able to achieve it as she is one of the best nurses I have ever worked with with 2 masters degrees. Our VA has gone through cut-backs because of a shortfall last year, and they are trying to tell us that is the not the reason they haven't promoted anyone to a Level III, but I am not buying it. Good luck - with 40 years of experience it should almost be an automatic.
