VA HPSP

Hi guys! I am receiving the VA HPSP scholarship and I have a 2.5-year commitment. I am wondering if anyone who has been through this could tell me more. I hear some hospitals have 8 hr shifts and you don't really get a choice in where they send you. I also don't really understand the salary scale. Any help is appreciated!

    Hey, I just wanted to reach out and see how long it took for you to get your acceptance after you submitted your application? Also, about how long did it take to go through all the background check and paperwork once you were accepted. I appreciate any help! Thanks ?

    I would like to know as well. I submitted my application about 2 weeks ago. I heard it takes them about two weeks to a month to respond. My application is in "selection ready" status. I'm assuming you can't tell when the three committee members have reviewed it.
