VA Educational Opportunities for Working LPNs

]I have heard that there is a program for LPNs at the VA that will pay for your schooling and give you your salary while you attend school, rather than come to work. Your school is considered your duty station. Anyone ever heard of this and/or been enrolled? I am an LPN very eager to return to school, but I have absolutely no money for school. I have been told that the VA will reimburse you for classes, but I don't even have the money to spend now. I thought of borrowing from my TSP to pay for school, but my husband doesn't think it's a good idea? Any advise?

There are several different programs at the VA to help with education. If you are working at the VA now you need to go speak with the person who is incharge of education at the HR department. If you are not working at the VA now you will need to get hired there first for most of the programs that they have. Sorry that I can not tell you what programs they have since they vary from VA to VA depending on their needs.
