UWG Nursing Program Summer 2018

Hello to everyone applying to UWG's Tanner School of Nursing (TSON). I applied October 1st for the Summer 2018 nursing program. I scored an 88 on the HESI exam, I currently have a 3.8 Nursing GPA and am a licensed CNA.

I look forward to sharing my story and hearing all of yours while we go through the application, acceptance and admissions process. Hopefully, through our postings we can utilize this as a system of support in order to make it through till the end, (graduation).

Does anyone know when they are sending out admission decisions?

Probably the week of March 11 thru 17th.

Man, I am on pins and needles this week. Last cycle got their decisions on the 17th. If this cycle follows that, it's ONE WEEK. How's everyone else doing?

Pretty much the same! Trying not to really think about it but still checking my email daily for any updates. Earlier this week I was even reading earlier forums just to pass the time. Hoping we do hear something this week and hopefully sooner rather than later! This is such a weird point in the semester (waiting to get decision back).

Next week i am going to be a nervous wreck, starting a new job while waiting to find out I have been accepted into the school of nursing!!! I am very excited and anxious.

Hey yall... My name is Meagan. I have a 3.6 (ish) GPA and got a 93 on my HESI overall. I fell yall on the pins and needles part. I've been trying to distract myself with a back up plan, just in case, and I've had two nephews born in the last two weeks, so been occupied enough. But yeah, I REALLY REALLY REALLY hope they send those decisions by Friday or Saturday.

Which campus did apply to? I applied for acceptance into the Newnan campus.

I put Newnan as my preference also! But I'll take anything!

I have an apartment in Carrollton and only applied for the Carrollton program. I personally didn't want to do a 8 semester program and part time.
