I have not seen a forum posted for beginning nursing school in the Fall. I think I have a pretty good shot of getting accepted due to having all of the bonus classes, hours, competitive TEAS score, and an ok GPA. I just wanted to start a discussion to get to know some of you and so we can post updates along the way! Good luck to all of you ?

I applied for the FNP program for the fall but withdrawn so I can apply for the Nurse educator program instead. I am not sure if they are calling people already but I was told by the program coordinator that the program is very competitive because they only admit 60 candidates once a year. Good Luck!

Do you mind if I ask what kind of gpa you had? Trying to decide if I should start the program I was accepted to this fall or wait and see if I get into uwf for spring. Its much cheaper for sure.

I had a few courses in progress the first time I applied. I received an email informing me I was an alternate.

Mrs Paige is my admission coordinator not Mrs. Leslie. I am still waiting but am guessing if I was accepted I would be called already. I am worried that I would have to find my own preceptors for practicum if i guess accepted, not sure I want to deal with the stress.
