Hello! Is anyone else applying to UWF for this fall?
Im about to submit my application and I’m feeling pretty nervous that I won’t be accepted. I’m a military spouse, so I don’t have much time before we rotate out of Pensacola. I’m hoping to leave here with my BSN and one year of experience.
Stats: 3.7 GPA, 93.3% TEAS, 3.93 prereq GPA, combo SYG and PSY from the recommended courses, all core prereqs done, but have Patho + Med term in progress.
Y’all should be just fine with your stats. Summer is not as competitive. I knew someone that got in with a 3.0 and an 80 TEAS score in the Summer.
My stats were 3.93 GPA prerequisite and 3.7ish cumulative? I can’t remember.
93 TEAS and pathophysiology, psych/sociology combo for extra points. The mometrix book helped with TEAS.
The program is 4 consecutive semesters. Do keep in mind you’ll have to pay a large chunk for books, the ATI package, the baby nurse kit, and uniforms I believe. It is a large sum upfront, upwards of $2400, I believe, when all said and done.
You need and use all those materials right away and should not buy them used as you’ll need codes for some books.
It’s definitely a challenging program and a new way of thinking for tests. Loads of busy work. Good and bad professors make a difference in your scores. Anything below a 75% is failing and there is no rounding. You’ll get reamed for things that aren’t your fault frequently, but keep your head down and play the game :) Good luck! You got this!

I'm applying for Summer 2021. Does anyone mind leaving their stats that got accepted? I'm worried about my TEAS. I'm taking it Tuesday, but I'm 35, with 3 kids, and a deployed husband so I haven't got to study much and some of my classes are older so not fresh in my mind.
My stats are:
Pre-req GPA: 4.0
Total GPA: 3.8
TEAS: N/A yet
Prior Bachelor's, with Soci/Psych combo and Med Term, no volunteer work recently enough to count.
