UWF BSN Fall 2020

Hello! I feel you on being super nervous too. I am applying for Spring 2021 in a couple of weeks and I am extremely nervous as well. I am also a military spouse and we are currently doing recruiting duty in Texas. My husband wants to get out so it would be great if I could get into UWF or UTSA. I am nervous about my TEAS because I got an 80.

my GPA is: 3.7

prereq GPA: 3.8

I have the same combo recommended courses you have and all the core prereqs done. I also have volunteer hours in the process.

Hey good luck! I think your stats are competitive. I was in lab with someone recently who got in to the Summer cohort with a 3.0 and about the same TEAS score.
I’ll update here when I hear back. I read that some students recently heard back early due to nursing cas. Hoping I don’t have to wait all the way until May!

Just wanted to update and say I got in for the fall.
I received my acceptance in my email early this week and I was expecting to wait until May.

I was accepted into UWF school of nursing as well. I was hoping to try and meet others in the program!

Thanks! Yes we shall meet very soon. I just wish the orientation date was posted. UWF is a beautiful school (my number 1 choice) wish I wasn’t so far from it at the moment

Hi, just came to update this and say I was accepted to the program for Spring 2021 and also to say that if you have any books or materials you may be parting with I'd be interested in taking it off your hands! Also, how has the program been so far for you guys? I'd love to hear first hand experience. 

Hello! I got my acceptance letter last week for Spring 2021! I would love info about the program too! How many months, etc. I can’t wait! 

I'm applying for Summer 2021. Does anyone mind leaving their stats that got accepted? I'm worried about my TEAS. I'm taking it Tuesday, but I'm 35, with 3 kids, and a deployed husband so I haven't got to study much and some of my classes are older so not fresh in my mind. 

My stats are:

Pre-req GPA: 4.0

Total GPA: 3.8

TEAS: N/A yet

Prior Bachelor's, with Soci/Psych combo and Med Term, no volunteer work recently enough to count.
