Hello,
I recently applied to UW Oshkosh's CRNA program and I am anxiously awaiting some feedback. Does anyone know if they start contacting applicants after the December 1st deadline when all of the materials were due? Or if they don't start contacting applicants until after the December 31st when the letters of recommendation were due?
They said they would send acceptance and rejection notification, so I don’t think it’s worth losing hope just yet.
Still nothing here, starting to feel like today may not be the day. How many other applicants have you been in touch with? Starting to wonder if initial offers are being sent and then “wait list” offers are being sent later - if people say no to the acceptance letter and go elsewhere. (Totally random guess, I haven’t heard of the program doing anything like this, I was more so wondering if anyone else got an acceptance already and if it was a possibility)
I talked to someone else who applied and interviewed on Thursday- two weeks ago and she hasn't heard anything. Also have been scouring FB and on here for any info or a rough timeline of when to hear back. So far, haven't heard of anyone receiving anything. I am almost tempted to email the program assistant just to ask when to expect to hear something.
But I think you're, right. Today probably won't be the day for anything which is a bummer. Like most of us, I am on edge and been a little anxious just to find out yes or no. HOPEFULLY by Monday I guess..
If you decide to reach out, let me know what they say. Last years forum said that the “interview committee will make their recommendations and forward them and our packets to the graduate school approval board”. They had responses within a week and a half though. Maybe COVID delay? Maybe more applicants/interviews/spots this year?
I’ve stayed pretty calm through today, setting the expectation that we’d hear at the end of week two but now I’m getting antsy.
