U.S.A. Virginia

Hi,

Is there anyone else out there who applied/ is currently applying to the UVa direct entry MSN CNL program? I would love to find other members so that we can go through this process together. I'm excited to hear from other applicants! Good luck!

I’m right there with you on the verge of that nervous breakdown!

I can’t believe we find out in less than two weeks… I'm sure I will be thinking of little else until then!

Ugh Saturday cannot come soon enough! I am very nervous and anxious and this is definitely becoming the longest week ever! Good luck to everyone!!

To those who applied to other nursing programs, have you heard back from them yet? Any news?

Hi Meg!!

I've been feeling the same too all week. It has been hard not to think about it!!! :( Do you guys think they'll put up decisions at 12:01AM this Saturday or in the afternoon? lol I may end up staying up until I go to work in the morning

I haven't heard back from the other schools I applied to get. I don't think they announce decisions until March!?!?

Good luck to everyone! I get in; and see you in May 2011.

I am over the moon excited right now! I got in!!! I already accepted.

I got in as well. Look forward to meeting in person in May!

I am looking for apartment(two bed room) now. I have a three year old son and like to run. Do you know any good apartment this area? Of course, Price is a big factor. Thanks!!!

Congratulations to everyone who got in!!! I also go in and am from Charlottesville and can help anyone with any questions they might have.

As far as the mom looking for an apartment- one apt. complex I know of is Eagle's landing. It is set in a quiet area in a large complex. You can walk (about 20-30 minutes) to the nursing buildings during the day. A lot of grad students live here.

Hi Superball,

Where are you moving from? Charlottesville is a beautiful city and is very runner friendly too!

Here is a website that is very useful for finding apartments to live: http://www.brac.com/index.cfm

You can search for different apartments based on your price range.

Aside from the website, I would also suggest looking at Oxford Hills. I have some friends who live in that area and it is quiet, and mostly filled with graduate students and professionals. Good luck!

Hello Meg11 & Jmoon2006,

Thanks for your help ! I am living at Cleveland. I will check the above websites definitely.

My hushband used to live in Charlottesville before becoming Hokie. It was a beautiful city !

RN'ti4uva and Meg11,

Really excited to hear you both got in! Congratulations!!!! :yeah::yeah::yeah:
