Starting a thread for those who applied to UTSW OCT 2024 Nurse Residency! 

Hey yall! I'm not applying till next semester, but I just wanted a heads up of how the applications work for utsw. Can you apply to as many specialties as you want, do you rank the specialties you want, or can you only apply to one?

Yes and yes. I know people have been offered and accepted SICU, NSICU, and MICU. I am unsure of how many positions are available in each, but the last cohort I believe it was 1-2 depending on the ICU. CVICU is not hiring this cycle.

OK thanks! I haven't heard anything so I'm assuming I wasn't selected. Hopefully they will atleast send me something saying I haven't been selected. Thank you !!

I would think they would!! I haven't heard anything about MSICU so that one might not have hired anyone yet! I have a friend that has not heard back from them and she preffed that one first I believe. I wouldn't give up hope yet!

Hi everyone! 

Has anyone heard back from the Multispecialty ICU unit? I had an interview several weeks ago and still haven't heard anything. I'm getting nervous because it seems like every other ICU unit has sent out their offers.
