Hello All! This is a forum for those applying to the UTSW Residency Program this upcoming February 2022. I applied to UTSW residency and a couple of other hospitals. Good luck to everyone!

I also applied ICU and ED as my second choice and haven't heard anything back yet. I applied on the 7th. Congrats to those who were extended interviews! I used to work as a Tech at UTSW in the SICU. I had to quit earlier this year when I started my accelerated nursing program. I wish I could have stayed in but my program is intense!

My classmate got an email during clinicals yesterday, I received my email at like 10pm last night.

I applied for UT Southwestern and put my top choice as oncology! I was extended an interview yesterday! I also applied for the ambulatory program and heard back today for an interview as well! Congrats to everyone else!

What exactly is ambulatory? LOL I was wondering what that was.

It's in their ambulatory and outpatient clinics! So like outpatient surgery, orthopedics, etc.!

I applied to the same units on the same day and haven't heard anything either!
