I graduated in May and passed NCLEX RN in June. I have sent out over 100 applications via online and I finally received a response. It is for an internship on telemetry for UTSouthwestern in Dallas Texas. I know however, this is only an interview and does not mean I will be given the spot. I really dont know a thing about internships- are they paid? Usually how long are they? Are you automatically hired contingent upon performance in the internship? If anyone could give me some insight I appreciate ya!:redpinkhe:nurse:

They are usually paid. Their aim is to train you the way they want so they can hire you on so the chances are pretty good of getting hired after the internship. Good luck with everything, I applied for an internship there too on a surgical floor recently but haven't heard much except the recruiter wanted me to submit my transcript.
