UTMB vs Baylor FastBacc

I've been accepted to both the Fastbacc program at Baylor and UTMB's nursing program and I have no idea which would be better for me. I currently live in College Station and I have no problem moving to Galveston or Dallas. I'm looking to see if there's a big difference between the two and which one would give me a better opportunity for work after graduation/passing the NCLEX? Please help I don't know many people who could give me advice!

Hey, CONGRATS on your acceptance! I’m a current FB student 3 weeks from grad. It’s a great experience but definitely not easy. You have to be able to prioritize and time manage well but it’s all worth it. Graduating from Baylor definitely distinguishes you (not to bash on other schools) and the FB program and its grads are especially well recognized among hospitals. Also, you’ll be more than prepared for the NCLEX with the way Baylor teaches! You learn A LOT, the profs actually care about you(& your mental health), and FB passing rate is phenomenal(you can find the % online). If you do end up choosing Baylor, I can have supplies I can sell to you for the low!
CONGRATS again!! ?

I went to UTMB and had a wonderful experience. The faculty will really set you up for success in passing the courses, and eventually the NCLEX. The campus is beautiful and you definitely feel like you’re getting a “college experience” vs some people I know that attended UTHealth in downtown Houston/The Med Center. The program is 15 months, and it’s over before you know it. All of my classmates had no issue gaining employment at top hospitals due to having a BSN/attending a school with notoriety. It just comes down to what you want. Galveston is a fun place to live and I know many that stayed on the island after graduation to work at the new UTMB hospital. There is so much to do between the beaches (both on the strand and across the way via the ferry to Bolivar Peninsula), great local eats/bars, and a crazy fun time at Mardi Gras that rivals that of NOLA. On top of that, the island is just short hop to HTX and the surrounding areas.

@Emerald99 would you be willing to answer a few questions about your FastBacc experience?
