Hello to all! I am applying to UTMB in Galveston for the Spring 2017 start. I have not seen any posts about this particular semester, so I thought I would reach out. Any body applying, gotten information, how was your TEAS test, pre-reqs, etc.?

Personally, this is my second degree as I have my first in Business Management & Entrepreneurial Studies. My mom is a nurse and has inspired me in so many ways, and I am excited to see where this journey leads me.
I made an 82.7% on my TEAS V and I am pretty nervous about this as I am not too sure how it compares or what the norm is. I hope everyone is having good luck in their application process and let me know how it is going for ya'll?

Are they done with interviews already? I just wish we would get some information soon.
I don't think they are!! There is the 3rd round left I believe!! But I think you should give them a call and ask about your application if you haven't heard back from them!!! One of my friend was in the same boat as you and when she called they said that she was missing some paperwork so that's why she did get an interview!! But now her paper work is send and they said she should hear back soon!! :)
Do ya'll think that we will hear in the next month? The next application period starts at the end of august (for Summer 2017). If I don't get in, I will apply for that term as well.
Hi guys!!! Okay so I applied for fall 2016 and was put into the waitlist. Just to want to give you guys an idea of how they do the application process (at least how it went) for last application round.
So there's 3-4 waves of interviews. They say you should hear back about your interview in 3-4 weeks but in my experience I had to wait all the way until the 4th week and was waitlisted. If that happens to anyone, if able I really recommend applying for the next application term. I applied for the spring and was accepted in the first round without being interviewed again.
If if you get an interview, basically you have done the hard part. They like you on paper now you just need to show them you. Don't be nervous, just be yourself and I really strongly recommend knowing your personal statement backwards and forwards because they do actually read it.
Keep the faith guys! It's a long and grueling process that requires a lot of patience. They said fall was extremely competitive and I was waitlisted with a 3.42 GPA with a 78 on my teas. Also don't be afraid to email people. I'm pretty sure I bothered Elizabeth Botello until the day I got an acceptance letter. It's okay to call and ask whatever you're wondering about.
