  1. Does anyone know anything about the contract for Christus?
  2. @AnaRegisteredNurse, did they suggest reapplying for med-surg jobs? I applied for Women's Services and haven't heard a thing. I'm trying to decide if I should resubmit my apps for med-surg, or if I'm already out of luck since I originally submitted for Women's Services at 3 locations.
  3. Question: when y'all submitted your application, did you apply to just one location? Or did you do 3 separate applications for your top 3 locations?
  4. Chare - thank you for your response! I appreciate your feedback. I was leaning towards leaving it off, so that's what I'll do until I finish my capstone :)
  5. Hi everyone, I am in my final semester of nursing school and have started the job application process. I have a quick question about when to list Capstone/Preceptorship on your resume. Our school's capstone does not start until the end of February (although we already know the hospital and units we will be placed on). Many of the jobs I am applying to, however, are already taking applications now or are opening up this week. I know Capstone is an important piece of the resume and can be crucial to getting a job in the area one wants to work. Should I list where I will be doing capstone on my resume before I start in order to have it on my resume, or do I need to wait until I've actually started it to list it? Thanks for your help!
  6. Got my acceptance email yesterday as well! So excited to start at UTMB in the Spring! Congrats to everyone who got in, and good luck to everyone still in the process! Stats: 3.44 GPA; 93% on the TEAS
  7. Sure! Overall GPA: 3.44 (gotta love freshman year mistakes coming back to haunt you six years later!) Science GPA: 4.0 TEAS: 93% Good luck everyone! There's still a lot of time to hear about interviews.
  8. I submitted my application to NursingCAS May 22 and my supplemental app on June 1st.
  9. Congrats! I received an interview invitation today as well! Looks like the 2nd round is starting :)
  10. I haven't heard anything yet either. Trying to wait patiently!
  11. Hi everyone! I've been following this thread since the application deadline and figured I should join in the conversation. I submitted my supplemental app on May 31st and am now just waiting. The waiting is the worst! Here's to hoping we hear something about an interview soon!
