Howdy! I couldn't find a thread for Spring 2016, so I figured I would start my own. I'm having trouble with this whole application thing (mostly stress!), so I would love to talk to others going through this same process!
If I get in, and choose to go to UTMB, then I will be commuting from the Hobby area (45 south right past 610). Right now I've been accepted to University of Houston (Sugarland) and I'm still waiting on UTMB, UTHSC, and TWU. The weight is brutal! UTMB seems so supportive so I'd really like to be there over UH.

I'm in the same boat. Got into UH, waiting on UTMB. It's just that I don't know much about UH, and I'm hearing stories of people getting kicked out for small things..

Oh cool, we live near each other! 😊
That's really good to know, that all of you guys are commuting! This is the only downside for me about UTMB is I would be commuting (from Montrose area- 5 mins away from medical center), and I don't have the option to move out there. I really liked how supportive everyone at UTMB seemed, and that's why I decided to apply after all. Hopefully I'll see you guys in the summer! ☺ï¸
