ohh wow this site is soo cool, Well I got my interview set as well for BACC2 on September 24,2010! I wish everyone good luck for the interview! On the other hand has anyone been through an interview process at UTMB. What questions do they ask? and what is the interview like?

I wonder if they are having multiple people do the interviews. Mine is 930am October 4th as well!

Mine is scheduled Oct. 4th at 9:30 too. Do you guys think this is the first round of interviews for the traditional program.....not BACC2(I see they have some Sept. interviews scheduled)?

Don't worry, the person I sent my email to left a message for me on 2 different #'s and emailed me the info. So when they get to your request for an appointment time, you'll know. I'm sure that they are swamped right now and there's only so much one can do in an 8 hour day. Today is a new day, so hopefully today you'll hear back!

I applied in the beginning of June, and called today because I hadn't heard a thing. They gave me my e-connect info, and it said they had received everything. THEN, i called the SON and they said for some reason, enrollment services didn't send my application over, so I called enrollment services who couldn't figure out the issue. They told me to e-mail someone else and now I'm waiting to find out what the heck happened! super stressed out. :uhoh3: I also applied to UT and just fyi, I got an 85% on my HESI. It's really not that bad! No fear! :)

i called today and talked to someone right away it took less than 5 min!! sooo glad my interview falls in the afternoon so i don't have to miss any class.

and beck.lclm did you interview at ut?? i got an 89 on my HESI and the other girls there were making me nervous some made 95s and such

On the other hand has anyone been through an interview process at UTMB. What questions do they ask? and what is the interview like?

I haven't met anyone who said they had a bad interview. A lot of the interviewers are the professors we have now and are really nice. They are championing for you to get in.

When you go to your interview, dress like you would if you were going to a job interview. While there are several people who interview applicants, you will only be interviewed by one person.

I think some of the questions that were asked last semester are posted on the Fall 2012 thread, but I think I remember a few. They are pretty basic interview questions... "What is your biggest strength and weakness?... Describe a time you had to work in a difficult situation and how you handled it?... Why do you want to be come a nurse?... What are your short and long term educational and career goals?"
