Hey guys Im making this thread so all of the applicants for UTMB Spring 2010 can follow each other through the process and help each other out! The application deadline is coming up soon! Goodluck to all!:nuke: I know they are only exepting 60 for the spring.
onmyway2b1 that sounds great, i'll let you guys know when i'm off the fence..i promised myself i will decide by friday. are you going to mail in your application fee or drive to pv texas? and do you know if the college accepts electronic transcripts, unofficial, or does it have to arrive via mail?
Due to my hectic schedule, it looks like I'm going to have to mail in the application fee. I hope that doesn't cause me a spot in the program.
As far as the transcript, I just read this directly from the website:
Hi guys,
just catching up with conversation. when you mail in your application please be sure you call them to put a rush because they had mines and was not processing until I called because I had no heard and the lady did it over the phone. Also, in the meeting the lady did say that they do first come first serve basis, she encouraged us to get everything done first. I applied to other schools because somebody has too take me just incase the one I really want doesn't.
Hey guys. I know alot of you guys live in the houston area as well and i was wondering where you guys are taking pathophysiology or UT,MB or have taken it.I was going to take at corpus christi, but i just realized the class I was going to register for which is also known as patho for TAMUCC isn't the class UTMB approved. If anyone has any information that would be great.thanks!
Ohh did they just change this rule recently?Yeah i took AP 1 IN FALL 2008,BUT I JUST TOOK AP 2 during the spring. The list of places to take it are really obscure, because a lot of these school require you to be already in accepted to the school or nursing like TWU for the houston campus,or the RN-BSN program at UT Tyler.I would have to go in person, but i don't live in the dallas area.
That's the link
If your applying for the generic BSN,I believe you do..You don't need it for the accelerated program,or the RN-BSN,but i'm not sure.

Ms Sealy, when I called PV earlier today, I asked if there was a waiting list. The advisor said that there was not a waiting list for the program, and that only the NET test was on a first come first served basis. I'm guessing there is still room available to take the NET on Sept. 19th. I will be completing the process and registering for the test asap.
Like you, I really want to get into UT, but it never hurts to have a backup plan..:nuke:
