UTMB Galveston Spring 2021

I am going to apply to UTMB Galveston's spring 2021 program. I have a 3.7 overall GPA and a 3.9 prereq GPA. I'm taking the TEAS this Friday and was wanting know if anyone could tell me whether I'd be a competitive applicant. The only other thing I have is that I've worked at a doctor's office walking back patients, taking vitals, inputting and updating patients meds, etc. for about four years. I have looked at other threads for utmb and it seems most people who got in or at least were considered had higher gpas than I do. Also, does anyone know the wait period for retaking the UTMB for the TEAS? I'm having a hard time finding it.

Hi guys!

I was a waitlisted applicant and just received my acceptance letter yesterday! 

My stats were:

GPA 3.3

TEAS score was an 82

I submitted fingerprints October 2 but still haven’t received an update :( anyone else?

Hello, I was accepted yesterday as well! For finger prints I received a blue card from BON and I went to mystar to accept and today I received follow up emails to set up my email and everything  ?

Did you receive your blue card through email or a letter? how long had it been? I’m wondering if old misdemeanors are going to be a problem in my acceptance now.

I received it through mail maybe 3-4 days after my appointment. I think if they find anything or anything pops up you’ll be notified and there’s a whole process. I received an email about the blue card. I can forward it to you in case you didn’t receive it!

Do you think I have a chance of getting in with a overall GPA of 3.6 and TEAS score of 69 overall ??? I also have volunteer experience, I was a tutor, etc.
