UTMB FALL 2015

Hi guys! I actually got accepted for the Summer but I realized that I wasn't going to finish my courses on time so my acceptance was rolled over to the Fall.

@jpcoher When I had my interview it was very relaxed! It was one faculty who interviewed me and she was really nice. She asked questions about my support system, my study habits, and how I planned to tackle nursing school. It lasted about 30 minutes. Be prepared to ask a few questions and good luck! :)

Really? Two weeks? Can u pls tell me your stats pls? I already posted mine! May be they wanna reject me!

My overall GPA is 3.9, including the classes that are not required for nursing and teas is 81. Be positive, your stats are not bad. Even last year most of em got accepted after 2 weeks even when they were told 4 weeks

I've heard that there are 3 round of interviews and I've also heard there is 4. Does anybody know which one it is?

Does anyone know how they pick for rounds of interviews? They stressed they review you by the order of applications, but I've found that not to be true. When I called and asked, they told me if I haven't heard anything that they probably haven't reviewed my application yet.

Has anyone else heard this??

I have a 3.9 GPA and an A on my TEAS V

I have the same stats, and I haven't heard anything! I got the email that my app was complete and would be considered for admission on January 21st. I'm freaking out!

I just got my rejection email yesterday . Very disheartening, but I'm not giving up!

I had my interview on Monday, It went very very well!! They give you a list of apartments and a brochure when you arrive like they are ready to make you a part of there school! The Dean of admissions came out and talked to me and another girl about our interview and everyone from the staff was very sweet!

If you get an interview here are some things to review:

1) Why UTMB?

2) Why do you want to be a nurse?

3) Know your personal statement!!!

4) know about the school!

5) What is something about you that has not been mentioned in your application?

6) What would you do if you had a 70 in a class in nursing school?

These were some generic questions that were asked! Good Luck!!

My interviewer seemed very excited about me, and you could tell he loved working at UTMB!

Hi am new to this group and thanks for all who have been posting. I wanted to find out if everyone got the card from the Bon that tells u dear prospective student, ur background check is clear and if not y I received it without an invitation for an interview 1st and if is possible to get admitted without and interview and if not have they called everyone who is suppose to be interview yet.

Here are my stats

gpa 3.70

science 3.25

Tease 68

but am already an lvn I don't know if that will help

I submitted my application January 14

this is a really stressful time since I applied only to utmb and I still have some prerequisite in progress

Has anyone received the acceptance letter yet please? I had my interview on February 13: was that the first or the second round? Does getting an interview invites in the first round mean you have a better chance of getting accepted into the program?
