UTMB FALL 2014

Published

I would like to start a thread for UTMB FALL 2014 since there I cannot find one. I am in the process of applying and this is the only school I am applying to. Right now, I just trying to finish my personal statement before I can submit it. I am a bit nervous and excited at the same time. So, how is everyone else doing?

@raidergirl95 I am in the same situation, please let me know if you can find out anything about it :/

@Bg123 I thought since some coursework at different universities are more difficult they would at least take it into consideration when looking at your gpa. :/ thanks for the reply though! :)

I believe that if you submit your application on NursingCas by Jan 15th you should be fine. They can receive your transcript after that date.

@drngoctopus honestly, since we are both up in the air about it all, you should call and see. They are very helpful and will tell you what you need to know.

Ok..as long as everything is received by NursingCas by the program deadline date all is good :) Also, do we include our personal statement in NursingCas for UTMB or wait for a Supplemental App to come and put it on that one??

What did yall use to study the TEAS? I have the ATI book to study for it, but I was wondering if that would be enough?

I only used the ATI book..I took it last Saturday and scored a 75.3. I'm taking it again this Saturday after I look at the remediate report and see if I can get it higher. Texas Tech lets you take it twice.

There is a spot in your nursingCAS application for your personal statement. And that is where you submit your personal statement to.

Anyone know how long it takes NCAS to receive and process the transcripts?

Oh okay. Yeah, I think I may just use the ATI book. How many times does UTMB let you take it? Is it once every application period? Depending on your GPA, I heard that if you have a low TEAS score, your GPA could potentially balance it out.

I used the ATI book and I scored an 85. I think it's a very helpful study guide. I am hoping the 85 will balance out my low GPA.

I take the TEAS on Dec. 30 and I am hoping for an 85. Thank you for letting me know that it's helpful. I am starting to study for it as well as write my personal statement.

I'm hoping to get my personal statement finished up this evening and do my video interview for Texas Tech also. I'm dreading that part!!!
