UTMB Fall 2019 NP program applicants

Has anybody applied to the fall 2019 NP program at UTMB ?

When did you submit your application and have you heard anything from them yet?

and what track did you apply to?

Just wanting to connect with people because this wait is killing me !! ?

I had to email her for the new student guide too and she sent me the attachment! I think she thought that the hyperlink in the acceptance email worked but it doesn’t. I’m in the FNP track!

As long as you are in the areas of Galveston and Houston, they will provide preceptors and clinical sites ?

what if you’re not in those areas but willing to drive? i’m in austin and it would be much easier to drive than find my own.

I’m sure as long as you’re willing to drive to Houston or Galveston on clinical days, that would work.

I have recently applied to the FNP program, the deadline was extended until June 1st. Does anyone have any details about the program or know someone who has completed it? I know they have 100% pass rate but ultimately I’m trying to get more details on whether they like the program, when is orientation ect. Thanks!

Orientation is July 10th and 11th!

It is online so you have to go for the 2 day orientation and about once or twice per semester.

Thank you ,I couldn't find how clinicals are split up as far as how many hours per practicum class. I understand it is 700 practicum hours.
