UTMB Bacc 2 Spring 2010 supply requirements

I need some help regarding the uniform and other items needed for the Bacc 2 program so it would be extremely helpful if someone who is already in the program or has graduated could help me out.

Shoes: What kind of shoes should we buy? I have read that alot of nurses really like the nike shox because of the extra cushion. I know they make all white shox that are leather so this could work but they have a little bit of gray on the sole of the shoe. Is this ok for our program?

Nursing supplies: do we get these at orientation? (ie, stethescope, pen light, etc)

Books: Is it okay to go ahead and order books once you have been accepted? I wanted to try and get some of them on Amazon so they will be a little bit cheaper. Does anyone recommend this or has anyone tried it?

PDA: I want to use an Iphone for my PDA. Does this seem to work well for most people? Any recommendations?

I can't think of anything else at the moment but I'm sure other things will pop into my head later. Thanks for all the help.
