Hi My Fellow Nurses,
My name is Letisha, and I live in Brooklyn, NY. I am seeking an online Family NP Program. I know about Frontier, Downstate and Utica College. Does anyone have any reviews about Utica's online FNP program? I know it's a relatively new program. Any info is very much appreciated!

Is any know, what is the grading scale to pass each class? How many classes we can fail and retake the class of this program? Thank You
84 is passing, you can fail two classes. I sure if you do one class at a time it is really hard to fail a class. I have been taking two classes each semester and working full time with 4 kids, passing so far.
@Walkndeadgirl, Thank You so much for your information. I am currently work in the full-time as Care Manager, but I haven't back to school for 4 years. Little bit nervous. Is the Master Program much harder than the BSN?

I have been doing 2 classes each semester, some classes are harder than others but I'm managing well. I feel I have no life outside of work, school, and home but I'm OK with this as I want to be done with school in 20 months total. I have Next semester and then I start clinical and will graduate in Dec. of next yr.
CCNE will be at the school Aug 30-Oct 2nd. We should hopefully hear soon if they are accredited.
Thank you for replying! I decided to take 2 classes at a time. Taking advanced patho and quality improvement right now. You were right about not having a life.. I def do not. As soon as I finish one thing I need to go to the next or else I’ll fall too much behind. But I’m gonna keep going so I can finish May 2022. I’m not really looking forward to taking Research next semester tho. Thanks for the info! ?
Hi all,

They will know by the end of the first semester if they are accredited. You will only have one or two classes completed prior to knowing, I would not worry.
Did anyone end up going through with this program? I am applying now and looking at my options for FNP post masters certificate online programs for NYS residents. Any thoughts?

They are about to graduate their first class through pretty soon. I think they all have one semester left, if I remember correctly. The CCNE just came through for the site visit. They said they will know end of Spring semester which is around May the latest.
Hi I thought the application process was pretty easy. Have you applied yet?
