Hi everyone! I didn’t see a thread for Fall 2022 Traditional BSN at UTHSCSA so I made one. I hope we can help each other answer any questions. Good luck to everyone who applied!

Does anybody know how many interviews they send out each year?

No, but on their website they say everyone who meets the GPA requirements and TEAS scores. So I am assuming a lot of people.

Well, their website states that you must meet a specific GPA and TEAS score, but that’s just for your application to be looked at. They said in the informational session that you receive an interview only if your stats are considered “competitive.”

Hi guys! I got an email for an interview too! IV'e been spending this whole week trying to prepare for it!! I'm so nervous but ready to take this next step. Good luck to everyone doing their interview!!

Hey I know our deadline for interviews are coming up on Sunday so for those of you who have already done them I'm sure you all nailed it! For those who still need to take it I wish you the best of luck and remember YOU GOT THIS!

I just finished the assessment, and oh my lord . I feel like a weight was lifted off my shoulder . Now to play the waiting game. . AGAIN! . Best of luck to everyone ❤️

Hello! I have also applied to the program and was wondering what kind of questions they asked for the assessment ?

Majority of the questions were nothing like the ones I was preparing myself for LOL. It was more among the lines of “what would you do if this happen” . Not really relating to nursing . 
like “what would you do if your computer crashed, asked to do something you felt uncomfortable doing, etc. ”, one was about a bus route, which totally threw me off. But eh, I feel like I did my best, which is all that matters.  hopefully the faculty people or whomever reviews my answers also agrees ☹️
