Hello! So I had seen threads started for past classes and didn't see one yet for the Fall of 2014 class, so I figured I would start one. So let me introduce myself. My name is Will Long, I am a 27 years old male and I am applying for UTHSCSA's Traditional BSN program for the Fall of 2014. I have started my application and have signed up to take the TEAS test next Friday. I am pretty excited about finally being able to apply after finishing up all the pre-reqs. Anyways I was hoping this thread could be used a source of information and a place to ask each other questions throughout the application process. Anybody else out there applying? Have you already taken your TEAS test?
I believe the TEAS V test can only be taken once per application period. If an additional one is taken, only the first test is looked at. I would just make sure you check with the school regarding application dates before you take one in case that initial test is the one they go by. And like someone else mentioned, nursingCAS was a chore. It was time consuming to enter all the information, and be sure it is entered correctly (ie exactly how it shows on your transcript)! You can save your info and come back later to finish. I did mine over the span of several days and then checked it one last time for any errors before I submitted.
