I have applied to UTHSCSA and UIW Fall 2018... is there anyone else who is applying or has sent in their apps?? What are your stats?

Did any of yall accepted go to Alamo colleges to do pre-reqs?

I got in as well! I got into UIW and UTHSCSA. its time to decide now. Which school should I go to? :(

I got into both too! I have to talk to my parents about it! It's a big decision. UIW is very prestigious but very expensive.

Accepted as well; stars are TEAS 86.0 Science GPA 4.0; cumulative 4.0

I went to the Alamo Colleges for all of my prerequisites

Its tough decision to make!! UIW offers good amount of scholarships that I'm thinking $2000~3000 a year difference. I think I will go with UTHSCSA since it is one semester shorter than UIW!

I GOT IN!

I was honestly not sure if I would as my GPAs are not amazing. My TEAS saved me!

Cumalative: 3.3

Math/Science: 3.6

TEAS: 90

I was a chemistry major at TXST for 3 years then changed my major and did 90% of my pre-reqs at SAC.

Its tough decision to make!! UIW offers good amount of scholarships that I'm thinking $2000~3000 a year difference. I think I will go with UTHSCSA since it is one semester shorter than UIW!

To anybody that got into uthscsa but know that they wont be attending PLEASE turn in the form and let them know you are denying the offer so that the people on the waitlist can get accepted!!!!

I did all my Pre-req classes at Alamo colleges! I received my BS in Biology from UTSA so it was way cheaper to just do them there than to go back to the university. They are horrible tho when it comes to sending transcripts to NursingCas.

UIW is way too expensive! You'll get the BSN at UTHSCSA but with 30k less in debt. I work at University Hospital so I also like the relationship they have with them as well.
