Hello everyone!!!

I decided to create a new forum for those applying to UT Health San Antonio Fall '20. We can ask each other any questions and go through this process together! I only found one other forum but it wasn't as active. This school is my top choice, but I'm also applying to UTMB. At the info. session, they said they take the TEAS reading score very seriously, so my score is making me a bit nervous. It's a holistic review, so that's good.

TEAS= 88 Nursing GPA (pre-reqs) - 3.84

Reading- 78.7 Math/Science- 3.6 or 3.7 I think

Math- 100 Overall- 3.76

Science- 87.2

English- 87.5

Nope ? I read some previous threads from other years and those who were waitlisted didn't get in. But I'm hoping we have better luck so fingers crossed ?? Don't lose hope!

for those of you who have submitted your intent to enroll form/questionnaire, did you receive a confirmation email or anything that shows they received it?

Did they take a few days to respond? I just emailed the forms yesterday but the money order will take a few says in the snail mail. I hope everything gets there on time.

I sent everything on Monday and I got a confirmation email the next day about the forms. Then I got another email yesterday confirming that the received my money order. I’m sure yours will get there soon!

Hi everyone! I'm new to the board, and was so glad to see there is one here for our class! I have been accepted to the Traditional BSN program for Fall 2020. So excited to meet some of my future classmates! I guess we are just waiting for further instructions to come on 05/26...the process has been so drawn out, I thought the interview/acceptance letter would never come.

Congratulations to everyone who was accepted! I am a new ABSN student (I started classes in May, will graduate August 2021).

Wanted to let you guys know: hang on for the ride. They will draw things out, change things, speed things up. It's OK. I know how very excited you are - I was (am!) too. It's part of the process, and honestly, I am hopeful that it will make us all better nurses as we learn to go with the flow (something that's REALLY hard for those of us that are super Type A).

Just know that they WILL provide you the information you need in time for you to get everything done. Enjoy your last months 'off' and get ready for an AMAZING school! ❤️

Hey guys, sorry I don’t have a facebook so I’m hoping my question could be answered here if any of the Fall 2020 cohort can answer.

Is anyone else still waiting on their CBC blue card?? I got my prints done at the start of July and still haven’t gotten anything in the mail. None of my calls to TBON are going through either and the August 3rd deadline is rapidly approaching ?

Hi Bridgette,

I had to call TBON on Friday last week to find out where my blue card was. I was on the phone waiting for a representative for an hour. The representative told me that my CBC had just gone through and that it would take about 3 business days to print my blue card and get it sent. I received my blue card yesterday. I would keep trying to call and reach someone at TBON. Good Luck!
