UTHSCSA: Fall Applicants

I have applied to the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio for Fall 2008. I guess this is a question for those who got in last Fall: When did you receive your acceptance letter? For this year, I've heard that it's in the 3rd week of April or so, but that's just rumor after all :-P

My wife and I spent our honeymoon in San Antonio in February. Morning lows in the 50s. Afternoon in the 70s. If you're getting married I highly recommend a honeymoon in San Antonio. Go to your hotel and ask for tour packages. We took an all day tour for $50 each. They picked us up from our hotel, took us all over, boat ride down the river, and dropped us off back at the hotel. Next day we went back downtown to see the sights on our own, especially the riverwalk. Just don't go in the summer unless you like your shoes to melt.

Just fondly remembering San Antonio. Absolutely nothing went wrong on that honeymoon and the weather was perfect.

WOW...and I thought I actually had a pretty good GPA....I am glad to hear that we still have a "chance" thanks for that information....I am leaving my job as a public school teacher of 9 years to pursue my dream of being a nurse....It is a really hard decision for me to make, but I am going for it!!! Good luck to you getting into the accelerated program
