Hey I decided to make this for anyone who’s planning on applying to utsa accelerated program in the next couple of months. Just trying to get something started!!

Has anyone gotten accepted and if so when did you know of your acceptance?

I was told we wouldn’t find out till Feb 28. That’s when they found out last year

No. Last year applicants had gotten them beginning of Feb when I had went through the their blog from last year. It was like the 4th I think.

I am so surprised. I am just trying to find out more information and what others have to say, but it seems as if there are so few people talking about this cohort at UTHSCSA. I wonder if the number of applicants have been affected by COVID. I am so anxious to find out. What are you guys thinking?

I’m honestly surprised also! The past cohort had so many responding and active on here but this year there has only been like 5 people to come on here who applied to this cohort. I’ve been on edge to see how many has applied also and how things are going to be.

I just cannot figure out if this is a good thing or a bad thing. I am so stressed, but there is nothing to do but wait. It is supposed to be sometime in February when we find out? Is that what you have come across as well?

Yes I’ve talked to 3 pple who are in school RN in the cohert before us and they had gotten interviews on the 4th and got their acceptance on the 27th of February.

I emailed a recruiting advisor and they said the earliest that we would receive invitations would be the first week of Feb. They also will notify us if we do not get selected.
