Hi guys!!! Recently applied to UTHSCSA for their Accelerated BSN program that starts in May 2020. Started this thread so we can all update each other during the application process. Feel free to comment anything!!!

Hi all! I’m Abby, an new mama to a 4 month old boy (cause that’s gonna make school easier) and I have a BS in hospitality management. Now onto nursing, hopefully!! Hahahahaha!

I am so nervous and excited all at the same time. I am currently a high school teacher and I am soooooo ready to start training as a nurse.

My name is Tessa. I have a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration. No children. The last five years I was a preschool director in Japan. Konichiwa!! My husband and I moved back last year ? I have always wanted to be in the medical field but took a different path back in college. ❤️ So excited I can pursue nursing school now!

My name is Kassandra, I just graduated with my bachelors in kinesiology. I also just got married and bought a home here in San Antonio! Lots of stuff for done in 2019 LOL! I can’t wait to finally pursue my dream! Goodluck to all of y’all, I hope to meet all of you on a deeper level once we got our acceptances!

@TheGeekyBird 5 children!! You are a champion!! I don't have any children...My name is Kay, I am from California, I attended college in Georgia and Louisiana before getting a job here in San Antonio. I have been here for...4 years in August. My boyfriend moved here a year after me, so its just the two of us. My undergrad degree is in Biology and my Graduate degree is in Healthcare administration.

@ChicGeek, can you make one(FB)? You don't have to give it any actual info if you don't want - set up a burner email and a fake name if need be?

@TheGeekyBird Yes absolutely loved Japan! Not in the military, picked up and left San Antonio when my fiancé at the time (now husband) proposed. He was in school for his masters. We loved it so much both found good jobs and ended up staying longer than expected!
