Hey! Has anyone applied to UTHSC in Memphis TN for the Accelerated BSN starting in the Fall of 2016? Do you have any insight into competitive GPA's and Teas V scores?
Well I'll cross fingers for the both of us! It made me feel a little better to see that they didn't even have 200 applicants last year and almost all of them got offers.. After I did the math, I think I figured out that they have like a 70% acceptance rate. I'm more worried about the fact that I don't have a Bachelor's degree. Jamie Overton said I still had a fair chance though so hopefully out of state residency and that doesn't hurt my chances.
That's the one thing I really have NO idea about! I've read different responses on here to that question, some people were saying they got letters, others emails. It's hard to expect things from past years though. Since NursingCAS updated, I feel like they're going to notify via that... but I think it really could be either one. Except snail mail?

I'm out of state too (Arizona) and I wonder the same thing. I know they definitely favor in-state for Med school (my boyfriend is there right now for medicine), but I'm not entirely sure about nursing. I met with one of the advisors back in june before I even applied or took the TEAS to get some info, and I asked her if they favored in-state applicants. She told me they didn't, but I also feel that telling people they do favor in-state would discourage people from applying to the program...Anyways, that's my one big concern right now.
