  1. I haven't heard anything yet. I hope they let us know if we didn't get in...
  2. Of course now they're saying "some time this week".. so annoying! They have people on the edge of their seats.
  3. I'm taking A&P 1 and 2 and Microbiology.. PLUS history and Statistics. The A&P classes have been completed in 8 week segments. I finished A&P 1 with an 83, and currently passing A&P 2. Microbiology is a full 16 weeks, but Statistics is 8 weeks. Keep in mind- I really do not have a life outside of school.. I mainly do homework all the time and we have a test at least every other week. It IS do-able. I thought I was going to be attending UTHSC this Fall which is why I have the heavy course load this semester, but I'm reapplying for the Spring and I don't regret taking these classes like that. You just NEED to be dedicated and ready to work. You also can't listen to the people telling you you're crazy for taking classes like this- they'll get in your head. It's basically like you're running a marathon throughout the whole class. Focus on your own success and you can do it.
  4. Still haven't heard anything y'all.. Congratulations to those who have been accepted! It's going to be great!
  5. I would think they would let us know by the end of this week? But who knows
  6. Still haven't heard anything y'all.. ah! Wish we knew.
  7. My bad! Still figuring this site out! I almost wish they were calling for interviews or something so that we know what's going on/
  8. That's the one thing I really have NO idea about! I've read different responses on here to that question, some people were saying they got letters, others emails. It's hard to expect things from past years though. Since NursingCAS updated, I feel like they're going to notify via that... but I think it really could be either one. Except snail mail?
  9. I really hope so! I want it so badly. I have NursingCAS and my email pulled up 24/7... Luckily, they can't see the amount of times I'm checking haha.
  10. Well I'll cross fingers for the both of us! It made me feel a little better to see that they didn't even have 200 applicants last year and almost all of them got offers.. After I did the math, I think I figured out that they have like a 70% acceptance rate. I'm more worried about the fact that I don't have a Bachelor's degree. Jamie Overton said I still had a fair chance though so hopefully out of state residency and that doesn't hurt my chances.
  11. Neither have I. I think we will hear by the end of this week or next week.
  12. It is new! I'm going to call and ask after I hear from them to verify. I'm from Richmond-- I've lived all over the east coast and started looking into TN about a year ago. I was accepted to University of Tennessee Chattanooga, but their program is longer. I prefer accelerated programs, I tend to do a lot better. I wonder if priority is given to the applicants who live in Tennessee already.
  13. I didn't meet the requirements.. I only have an AA so it's a long shot for me to be applying to UTHSC. I hear those programs are really good too... If I don't get into UTHSC this semester though, I think they're opening for the Spring too so I'll just apply again. I've really fallen in love with the school.
  14. Awesome, abnursing! Hopefully we hear back soon!!!
  15. I think it's either NursingCAS or email... I'm not totally sure, to be honest. I just want to know already, I was hopeful that they might let us know today.. maybe next week?
