Hello everyone!
I've been looking around for a UTH - Pacesetter BSN forum for Summer 2022; haven't found one so I'm going to start one here! This forum is for anyone applying for or just curious about the Summer 2022 application cycle (deadline Jan 15th, 2021). If anyone has any questions, concerns, worries, or anything they'd like to share during the process then you've found the right place! We're here to help each other out. Best of luck!
Hello all! I know this is late but I am freaking out so hard about all of this. I have been denied twice now, Spring 22 and Summer 22.
I took the HESI 3 times, two under UTH code and once under A&M to have it transferred over. I’m freaking out that this won’t allow me to get in. BUT the registrar also can’t find my latest HESI exam! I did really well on it and know that I have zero chance of acceptance without it.
im also currently retaking some classes to raise my GPA, but if I’m applying for the fall 2022 (extended till may 1st), do y’all know if these classes would even count? What do I do about sending over most recent transcript? Send now or send after grades are posted (they would be posted after may 1st deadline).
I feel so crappy because of taking the HESI 3 times that there’s no way for me to get in

u can apply. I got accepted and im still pending a class LOL so it's a hold on my account until I get the credit. But send your transcript after you grades are posted

I’m so worried about the fact that I’ve taken the HESI three times though ? I didn’t feel comfortable with my first time since my lowest section was anatomy with a 76 so I retook it and it ended up being horrible (they forced me to reschedule the original date I was supposed to take it because did a malfunction on their end, and then the red he filed day I had really bad personal things go on the same day). My second time was lower than my first with overall being 83%. I was super bummed but decided to try a third time using A&M’s code and studied a ton and made a 93 with 100% on anatomy and my lowest section being 86! And now I’m learning they don’t even have it and no one is helping me or able to tell me what the issue is or why they can’t find it and Elsevier says they sent it! ?
You can only send/take HESI for UT Cizik twice. Each time you send a HESI score (using the Cizik's code or a different school's code) it counts as one attempt. Since you already sent two different HESI scores, you already have two attempts under Cizik which is the maximum. For reference, I found this information from the Cizik's HESI page and their Pacesetter webnair.

Yes I know it states that toh can only take it twice under their own code, but it doesn’t not specifically state that they only allow two tries in total. I’ve even called and confirmed that with someone from the stiffens affairs office. I was referred to speak to them from the registrars because she thought that was the case as well, but the woman I spoke to told me that although it’s uncommon for people to take it more than twice, they do accept it more than twice.
I have also seen in an older forum on here someone talking about the same thing, taking it a third time under a different school code and sending it over. I’m just hoping it was an issue in Elsevier’s end.
For those that are currently attending the Summer 2022 program, could you share your first-semester class schedule? I'm currently waiting to hear back for my Fall 2022 application and would like to know what the first term schedule looks like in anticipation to plan around daycare and the commute.
Also, were you able to choose your classes and professors, or is it pretty much the same for everyone in the cohort given it's a small class (under 200 students).
TIA!

Just make sure your school accepts that CLEP test so that it can be added to your transcript. One of my schools didn't, but luckily the other school I attended did accept it.
